Laura K. Betten received her Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the Stetson University College of Law in 1989. She received her bachelor's degree from Rollins College in 1985.

Laura is admitted to Practice in the State of Florida and before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

She is a member of the Brevard County Bar Association, The Florida Bar, Elder Law Section of The Florida Bar and the Real Property, Probate, Trust Section of The Florida Bar, Board of Directors of the Alzheimer's Association of Brevard County, the Estate Planning Council, and she has been a Speaker/Presenter at the Guardianship Training course.

Laura is an Adjunct Professor at Brevard Community College and also the Florida Institute of Technology.

Laura practices in the areas of Guardianship, Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate and Corporate Law.

Laura is married to a prominent businessman. They have two children.
